More on the Urusei Yatsura au of Dipper and Pacifica cuz I've been thinking about it a bit. Also they're aged up for this au.

In a string of hilarious events, Dipper, a normal boy somehow ends up saving the world from alien invasion by winning a game of tag against the alien race's beloved princess Pacifica. (Much like the beginning of the anime/manga). But he not only did he save the world, he also unintentionally has become engaged to the very alien he'd beaten! That's where the similarities to the source material ends as it goes in a direction much like the GF show. Where stuff is weird and strange but with a boy meets alien twist to it.

Characters that I've thought of so far:

Pacifica: An alien ogre princess of a race of fighters. Her abilities range from being able to fly, to conducting electricity at will. Her appearance would much that of Lum (the character she'd be somewhat playing). Pacifica can be a bit mean sometimes but beneath the surface lays a kind soul.

Dipper: Just an average man who's been randomly selected by a super computer to compete against Pacifica in a game of tag. Which he ends up winning. Doesn't really change much character wise, still awkward and a bit snippy and sarcastic which drives Paz up the wall.

Fiddleford: Cuz he deserves it, technically the king of the oni race. The adoptive father of Pacifica, Fiddleford's abilities are strength as well as having the ability to breathe fire. (Which works wonders for his welding and inventions). Stays with Paz on her time on Earth to help her out when needed.

Stanford: Dipper's uncle who's in charge of the strange and paranormal. Is absolutely loving the fact that aliens exist and wants to study Pacifica and Fiddleford so effing bad it's not even funny. May also develop a crush on a certain oni king lol.

Mabel: The twin of Dipper and the one who's determined to become friends with the alien princess if just to see her electricity in action due to how bright and vivid it is. Character wise doesn't change much.

Stanley: Dipper and Mabel's other uncle who to is over the moon about the aliens but not for the reason Ford is. Rather he's excited about the royalty part. Can't wait to get some funds towards the Mystery Shack from the Northwest-Mcgucket family, who honestly don't mind too much lol.

That's about all I have. I'll update more when I think of something. :3

And ohh. I like this question…someone commented something interesting on the original post (I believe it was @/Swirlingflight on ao3) that Papyrus’s “everyone can be a good person if they just try” belief stems somewhat from the fact that he knows for certain that this is true because, yknow. He was once a cold, unfeeling murderous creature of darkness and now he’s, well,

Him. Lol.

Also, importantly, he not only holds that stance on others, but also “wants to assert to himself that he IS a good person now - regardless of that regretable necessity back in the day.” (To quote them directly, because I really like how they put it.)

So, I think that papyrus wouldn’t react much differently to a murderous human child than he does in undertale (again, he didn’t turn out much differently than the papyrus we know in this AU), HOWEVER.

Shifters are somewhat indestructible…so…

I like to think (because it’s hysterical) that encountering papyrus at all in a genocide run ruins the run. You can’t kill him at all. So he joins your party, doesn’t let you murder anyone, and maybe even hands you beneficial items during battle so you don’t have to waste a turn buffing/healing.

i can honestly imagine so many scenarios for this cursed ass neutral run.

I’ll bet he complains all the way through hotland HA.

Anyway, maybe there is a way to avoid him in Snowdin and continue the genocide run as normal, but because you can’t kill him, I don’t think the sans battle would happen? Maybe it would, bc it’s kinda his job, but I don’t know lol. Anyway, I have a lot of thoughts about this, but that would be way too long a post. I would actually like to hear your ideas too, if you want to comment below, or dm me!
